Toy Story is an animated movie about the secret life of toys. When people are not watching, the toys come to life and have their own adventures. The story begins with Woody, a cowboy doll who is Andy's favorite toy. Woody is the leader of the toys and always takes care of his friends. Everything changes when Andy receives a new toy for his birthday: Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger action figure. Buzz believes he is a real space ranger, not a toy. Woody becomes jealous because Buzz gets all of Andy's attention. After an accident, Woody and Buzz are separated from Andy and must work together to find their way home. Along the way, they face many challenges, including escaping from Sid, a boy who enjoys taking toys apart. During their adventure, Woody and Buzz learn to trust each other and become true friends. Buzz realizes that he is a toy, but he also understands that making a child happy is an important mission. Woody learns that friendship is more important than being the favorite toy. In the end, Woody and Buzz return safely to Andy's house and are welcomed back by the other toys. They become best friends and discover that working together is the key to overcoming problems.
